Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started at Spark Fitness?

To get started with us, you simply need to setup a strategy session. You can do this by calling us at 407-757-0552 or by filling out the online form to the left. If you choose to fill out the form online, you will be contacted within 24 hours.

Do I have to book A strategy session?

Yes, we feel that a strategy session is critical to your success. It gives us an opportunity to get to know each other and make sure that we are the best fit for you and your goals.

If we aren’t your jam, that’s cool. We can help you find a place that is!

What should I expect at my strategy session?

A strategy session takes about one hour. Your trainer will spend some time discussing your goals and past experience with exercise then check your body measurements. Next, you will be put through a very simple movement screening to determine your limitations. Finally, you can expect a 15-20 minute sample workout that will allow you to determine if we are the right fit for you. If all that checks out, then we’ll discuss what we feel is the best program for you to get started on.

Do you only offer personal training at Spark Fitness?

All of our programs can be found on our services page. If you would like more information about any of our programs, please call us at 407-757-0552.

What does training cost?

We are going to give it to you straight. We are not the cheapest option in the area, but if you made it this far, we’re pretty sure that you don’t really want the cheapest. Instead, you want someone that is committed to your success and will walk you through each step while keeping it interesting. That’s us!

Training with us 2 times per week starts at $360 a month and goes up from there based on how many days you want to work with us or what program you choose. If you would like a quote based on your specific needs, please call us at 407-757-0552.

Do you do CrossFit at Spark Fitness?

No. We do not have any affiliation with CrossFit whatsoever. We may at times use basic exercises such as squats or deadlifts which are used in CrossFit, but our programming is quite different.

What are the workouts like?
Workouts can be very different based on your goals. For example, workouts for fat loss are typically performed at a faster pace than a workout designed to build maximum strength.

Our 2 main goals are to keep you safe and to be as efficient as possible with your training sessions. Some days it will take all you’ve got and others you may still have a little “left in the tank”. Either way, you will leave feeling better than when you first came in.

Do you give your clients meal plans?

No. Per Florida law, only registered dieticians and licensed nutritionists are allowed to prescribe meal plans. At Spark Fitness we do not believe that this level of assistance is needed for most clients. Instead, we offer nutritional coaching that teaches clients the basics of healthy nutrition and caloric awareness. We also help facilitate a local meal delivery service for those that just don’t have time to cook.

Do you train clients to compete in fitness competitions or high level athletics?

No, this is not our strength. While we have successfully coached many clients to single digit levels of body fat or improved their performance in their weekend sports, this is not our specialty.
